Junior Preneur Part 2: Training Kids To be Responsible Entrepreneurs
Training a person on how to become a successful entrepreneur should start from childhood. But while we are attempting to open the minds of young people not only on saving money but also on how to run even a small business, they should have fun too.
This April 14, bring your kids to the 2nd Junior Preneur event at People’s village, Tiendesitas, Pasig City. The event aims to Increase Financial Literacy in the Philippines starting with kids by teaching them the importance and Value of Money.
Last year was a blast as the organizer of Junior Preneur gathered kids aged 4 to 14 years old. This year will be more exciting and enriching for the kids! Read Junior Preneur Part 1.
Following Junior Preneur’s ADVOCACY, each Kid entrepreneur participant will exercise the ff:
a. EARN – Kid must do actual work during the event ( ex. Selling/ cooking etc..)
b. SAVE – Kids must open a bank account from our partner banks after the day work and deposit part of his earnings as his savings
c. SHARE – Kids must choose from our partner foundations where she/ he would like to support.
Aside from kids being entrepreneur even for just one-day by manning their own booths, this summer vacation, Junior Preneur Kids will have a chance to explore their interest on Cooking, Dancing, Arts and Sports by attending workshops sponsored by our partners.
